Dow Announces Price Increases of its Epoxy Products in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India

Hong Kong - March 03, 2006

Effective April 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow Epoxy will increase prices for its epoxy resins in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India.

In Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and India, Dow will increase prices by US$150/MT for its liquid and solid epoxy resins, and by US$120/MT for its solid solution and brominated epoxy resins.  In Japan, prices for its liquid and solid epoxy resins will be increased by Yen 20/kg, and by Yen 15/kg for its solid solution and brominated epoxy resins.

In Europe (Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Turkey), Dow will increase prices by 150 Euro/MT for its liquid and solid epoxy resins. Prices for its solid solution and brominated epoxy resins will increase by 120 Euro/MT.
