Dow Announces Price Increases of its Epoxy Products in Asia Pacific

Hong Kong - April 21, 2006

Effective May 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow Epoxy will increase prices for its epoxy resins in Asia Pacific.

In Asia Pacific, Dow will increase prices by US$100/MT for its liquid and solid epoxy resins, solid solution and brominated epoxy resins. In Japan, prices for its liquid and solid epoxy resins, solid solution and brominated epoxy resins will be increased by Yen 10/kg.

Dow said the increase is driven by the surging feedstock price, as well as the tight supply situation.
