Dow Announces Price Increases of its Epoxy Products in Asia Pacific (including India and Pakistan), the Middle East and Africa

Hong Kong, China - May 15, 2006

Effective June 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow Epoxy will increase prices for its epoxy resins in Asia Pacific (including India and Pakistan), the Middle East and Africa.

Dow will increase prices by US$200/MT for its liquid epoxy resins and US$150/MT for its solid epoxy resins, solid solution and brominated epoxy resins. All specialty resins will increase between US$100 and US$300/MT.

Dow said the increase is driven by the surging feedstock price, as well as the tight supply situation of both epoxy resins and their raw materials.

Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
