Dow Announces Epoxy Products Price Increase in Asia Pacific (including India & Pakistan)

Hong Kong - July 17, 2006

Dow Epoxy, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, will increase prices for its epoxy resins in Asia Pacific (including India and Pakistan).

Effective August 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow will increase the price for its liquid epoxy resins by US$150/MT; and will also increase the prices for its solid, solid solution and brominated epoxy resins by US$100/MT.

Dow says the increase is driven by high feedstock price and tight epoxy resins/raw materials supply globally.  Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
