Dow Increases Epoxy Resin Prices in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India and Pakistan Midland, MI - August 02, 2006 Dow Epoxy, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow”), has announced list and off-list price increases for D.E.N.™ epoxy novolac resins and D.E.R.™ liquid, liquid blend, solid and solid solution epoxy resin products. The increases, effective September 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, apply to the following regions: North America, Europe (Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Turkey), the Middle East, Africa, India and Pakistan.
The increases are in addition to all those previously announced in the affected regions. This most recent pricing action is driven by volatile raw material costs and tight supply and demand conditions, globally.
