DOW™ Epichlorohydrin Price Set to Rise in Latin America

Sao Paulo, Brazil - December 12, 2007

Dow Epoxy, a global business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow”) and its affiliates, today announced a price increase of US$100 per metric ton in Latin America for DOW™ Epichlorohydrin.

The increases are effective January 1, 2008, or as contract terms allow.

These increases are driven by the rising cost of propylene, a key raw material for these intermediates products. Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
