Epoxy Intermediates

In addition to our extensive epoxy resin products offering, Dow also provides intermediate products.

Allyl Chloride

DOW™ Allyl Chloride is a clear, colorless, highly flammable, highly reactive, liquid organic intermediate. The presence of both a primary halogen atom and an olefinic double bond makes allyl chloride a uniquely versatile material that can undergo reactions both as an alkyl chloride and as an unsaturated hydrocarbon. This versatility makes it a useful chemical intermediate.

Epichlorohydrin

DOW™ Epichlorohydrin is a highly reactive chemical intermediate. In its pure form, it is a clear, colorless liquid.  The presence of both an epoxide ring and a chlorine atom in the molecule allows epichlorohydrin to readily undergo a variety of chemical reactions with many types of compounds.  This versatility earns its wide use as a chemical intermediate.
